Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The 61st Annual Grammy Awards has finally taken form with the completion of the list of performances for the night. Now, all the prestigious music awards show has to do is hand out the coveted gramophone trophies…
The performers for music’s biggest night have been confirmed to be the mix of old and the new.
Set to perform is Lady Gaga, nominated for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “Shallow” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Joanne [Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?] and fresh out of winning Best Actress at the Critics Choice Awards for her performance on ‘A Star Is Born’ directed by Bradley Cooper.
Gaga’s musical companion for ‘A Star Is Born’ Mark Ronson will also perform, nominated for three times this year: Song Of The Year and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “Shallow” and Best Dance Recording for “Electricity” [Silk City & Dua Lipa feat. Diplo & Mark Ronson].
Korean pop boy band, BTS, was confirmed to be presenting weeks ago after it earned its first Grammy nomination for ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ in the Best Recording Package category. Days before the show it was also announced that they will perform, a spokesperson confirms to ET.
Grammy nominees performing this year will include Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, St. Vincent, Post Malone, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, H.E.R., Dolly Parton, Shawn Mendes and Little Big Town.
Not performing though and not attending are Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. Swift is rumored to be at the BAFTA’s to support her beau Joe Alayna while Grande declined to perform after butting heads with the producers of the show. Both artists are nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.
