Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – A$AP Rocky has been forced to cancel the rest of his July shows overseas as he remains detained in prison in Sweden.

The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Meyers, will no longer be performing at the European Festival and has cancelled upcoming tour dates due to his condition. His representative told TMZ that he will be detained “for an unknown period of time.”

Meyers was arrested for being involved in a street brawl during a musical festival in Sweden. He is being held in prison and is awaiting the result of the investigation of the prosecutor.

He was scheduled to perform at the Sonar music festival in Barcelona, Spain on July 19. The event’s organizers said they are now looking for someone to replace the rapper.

He was also scheduled to perform at the Green Theater in Moscow, and has upcoming shows in Germany, Ukraine, and Belgium.

TMZ also reported that an official from the US Embassy commented that the rapper is being held in “inhuman conditions” and that the prison facility feels like “walking into a toilet.”

Fredrik Wallin, the governor of Kronoberg prison denied the allegations, telling Radio 1 Newsbeat that the rapper is provided with a proper bed and mattress to sleep in. Prisoners in the facility are also given meals three times a day, contrary to claims that Meyers is only eating an apple a day as it is allegedly the only edible food in the facility.
