Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Ariana Grande’s reinterpretation to Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Sound of Music song ‘My Favorite Things’ has earned her her second number one Billboard Music Chart topper after last year’s break-up bop, ‘Thank U, Next’.

This marks as a good year for Grande as she is set to release her follow up to the Pharrell produced album, ‘Sweetener’ that released last year. Not without its merits, the previous album produced hits such as ‘God is a Woman’, which featured a Madonna cameo in the video, ‘The Light is Coming’ with Nicki Minaj, ‘Breathing’ and ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ which was its lead single that reached to the third spot in the Billboard Top 100 chart when it was released.

Following Grande ending her engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, she released a new track which was not in the album, ‘Thank U, Next’. The song earned Grande her first number 1 in the Billboard Top 100 chart. She then followed it with the break-up ballad ‘Imagine’ and this year, with the heavily hip-hop influenced, ‘7 Rings’— a song about buying her friends jewelry from Tiffany and Co. after a drunken spree.

After her second number one song was released. Grande revealed that she was releasing another album on February 8 this year titled ‘Thank U, Next’ and has released the track titles on her Twitter which includes ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’, ‘Needy’ and ‘NASA’ to name a few.

The song ‘7 Rings’ is also the first number one Top 100 song from the duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, 54 years after the release of the original ‘My Favorite Things’.
