Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret announced its newest addition to their ‘Angel’ line-up with Hungarian model Barbara Palvin. An ‘Angel’ title is a lucrative contract as it does not only provide you with the proverbial wings but also star in various campaigns for the brand, not to mention sprawled across all billboards worldwide and social media, including walking the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

The model took to her Instagram account to share the news saying that she never thought being an ‘Angel’ would happen and it exceeded all her expectations. She adds that there were times when she was held by her own thoughts but through her team, her family and Ed (Razek, Senior Creative Executive of Victoria’s Secret) who always supported and uplifted her, she made the climb. She also thanked them for believing in her. To end, she proudly declared that she is proud to represent her country, Hungary.

Palvin previously walked the show for the first time in 2012 and took a six year hiatus until her comeback last year. She walked alongside her famous ‘Angels’ Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swaenopoel, Josephine Skriver, Jasmine Tookes, Elsa Hosk, Rome Strijd and Adriana Lima who walked her final show for the brand last year after serving for 18 years.

The Hungarian model was joined by her boyfriend, Disney alum Dylan Sprouse, who cheered her on in the sidelines and even brought burger and fries from Shake Shack to celebrate.

Being the supportive boyfriend that he is, Sprouse also announced the great news on Instagram with additional captions, “Proud of all the work you’ve done leading up to this and here’s to more years of success and a little less Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.”
