Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper certainly didn’t want to take another chances at love as he married his longtime Kirsten Corley.

Born Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, 25, the rapper married Corley on Saturday at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California according to People. The news site has also reported that the wedding was planned by Jeannie Savage of ‘Details Details’ which is a big wedding organizer in California.

The bride wore a strapless princess dress which had floral details in the bodice by Galia Lahiv while the groom wore a white blazer with black details and his favorite bow tie.

The Grammy winner and her now legal spouse share a three-year old daughter Kensli. According to Vulture, the pair has been together for over a decade.

Before the wedding, Chance tweeted about how he met Corley. He revealed that they first saw each other when they were nine years old at his mother’s office party where she performed ‘Independent Woman, Part I’ by the Destiny’s Child with her other two friends.

He added that he locked eyes with the prettiest girl he’s ever seen, although he claims to have been staring at her, while she was “conquering the choreography.” He revealed that his parents urged him to dance at the party but refused to because he was shy and went to the back without introducing himself but was sure that he was going to marry Corley from that moment on.

The ‘No Problems’ singer eventually proposed to Corley last year on the Fourth of July.
