Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is one of the new housemates for season two of CBS’ “Celebrity Big Brother”.

CBS made the announcement on Sunday, indicating that Scaramucci will be appearing on the reality TV show together with 11 other guests who will live together in one house installed with multiple cameras and sound recording devices to capture their interactions 24/7.

Scaramucci is the second former Trump staffer to join the reality show following the footsteps of Omarosa Manigault Newman who appeared in “Celebrity Big Brother” season 1. During her stint, Newman made headlines after she revealed shocking details about her time at the White House.

However, this isn’t the first time Scaramucci was tapped to join the show. Host Julie Chen Moonves told The Hollywood Reporter that the network formally asked him to join the first season but he turned it down.

“The Mooch”, who retired from his White House post just two weeks after landing the job in 2017, will be joined by a diverse list of talents, including Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan, comedian Tom Green, Olympians Ryan Lochte and Lolo Jones, actors Jonathan Bennett and Joey Lawrence, singer Tamar Braxton, former NFL player Ricky Williams, former WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, and Kata Kaelin.

Since exiting his job at the White House, Scaramucci has been working at his investment firm, Newsweek reported. His most recent public appearance was at the Golden Globes earlier this month.

“Celebrity Big Brother” Season 2 will premiere on January 21 at CBS.
