Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Just when most fans thought that nothing could top Sunday night’s episode of ‘Game of Thrones’, Emilia Clarke teased that there’s an even bigger episode coming.
The Battle of Winterfell may just be one of the most epic events in television history, but Clarke warned fans that the fifth episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ final season will definitely be one for the books.
Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the show, hinted at what’s to come in the upcoming episodes of the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’. The actress hinted that what’s coming is nothing compared to the obsessed-over episode 3.
“Episode five is bigger. Episode five is, I mean, four and five and six, they’re all insane, but like… Find the biggest TV you can,” Clarke said excitedly on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, CNN reported.
The Battle of Winterfell is the longest episode in ‘Game of Thrones’ history and the biggest shoot for the show. The episode took 55 days to film and has a runtime of 82 minutes.
Now that the war against The Night King and the dead is over, the survivors of the Battle of Winterfell have another problem to face—Cersei Lannister and the claim to the Iron Throne in King’s Landing.
But before Jon, Dany, and the rest of the survivors head down south, episode 4 will have them mourn the casualties from last week’s battle, TV Line reported.
In official photos released ahead of episode 4 it can be seen that those who died, which include Jorah and Lyanna Mormont, Beric Dondarrion, and Theon Greyjoy, will be given a proper funeral. The survivors—the Starks, Tyrion, Daenerys and the others—are seen preparing a funeral pyre for the dead.
‘Game of Thrones’ airs every Sunday on HBO.
