Keith Urban, Dan + Shay, Kacey Musgraves Win Big Academy of Country Music Awards

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Dan + Shay, Kacey Musgraves, and Keith Urban were some of the big winners at the recently concluded Academy of Country Music Awards.

Urban brought home the Entertainer of the Year Award, while Dan + Shay picked up three awards. The duo’s picked up the Duo of the Year award, while their song, ‘Tequila’, won Single of Year and Song of the Year, Variety reported.

Musgraves, on the other hand, won big with her ‘Golden Hour’ album , which won Album of the Year, which also took home the same award at this year’s Grammy’s. The 30-year-old singer was hailed Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACM.

Meanwhile, the performances were on fire at the ACM. For one, ‘This Is Us’ star Chrissy Metz surprised everyone when she took the stage to sing ‘I’m Standing With You’, a film from her upcoming movie ‘Breakthrough’, USA Today reported. Metz made her live-TV singing debut with Carrie Underwood, Maddie & Tae, Lauren Alaina, and Mickey Guyton.

The ACM was also Underwood’s first red carpet appearance since giving birth to her son, Jacob Bryan. She also stirred quite a buzz and gained praise from moms everyone when she shared a photo of her on Instagram. In the picture, the ‘American Idol’ champion was getting ready for her performance while pumping milk for her baby.

Other artists who performed that night were Blake Shelton, George Strait, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn and Luke Combs, Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, and more.
