Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kim Kardashian has registered to trademark the name of his newborn son, Psalm West.

Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West have applied to trademark their 14-day-old son’s name. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kardashian wants to use Psalm’s name for several potential business ventures such as hair accessories for babies, skin care, entertainment services, toys, and computer software.

E! News also reported that Kardashian’s company filed the trademark protection a day after she announced her son’s name to the public.

Kardashian’s filing comes days after her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, registered to trademark her daughter’s name, Stormi, for the purpose of using it for a clothing line for babies, as well as furniture and skin care for babies. Kylie Jenner also trademarked ‘StormiWorld’, inspired by Travis Scott’s album ‘ASTROWORLD’. ‘StormiWorld’ was the name for the baby’s first birthday party.

Khloe Kardashian also trademarked the name for her daughter, True Thompson.

An application for trademark costs around $225 to $400, with possible additional fees amounting from $100 to $125 to indicate use of the said trademark. Renewal of the trademark every 10 years would cause $425 per class.

The reality show star also trademarked the names of her other children, North West, Chicago West, and Saint West.

Kim and Kanye welcomed the birth of their fourth child on May 9. The couple had the child via surrogate.

“He’s here and he’s perfect!” Kardashian said on social media. Her representative also shared that the baby weighed six pounds and nine ounces.
