Miley Cirus’ New Song Talks About Cardi B And Nicki Minaj

Written by on June 9, 2019

During a mini-concert at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend festival on Saturday 25th, Miley Cyrus performed three new songs, one in which she sang about rappers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

The song is called “Cattitude.” In that track, Cyrus picked a side in the squashed feud between the two female rappers.

In one line, Cyrus made a really provocative statement. She said, “I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi.”

In addition to “Cattitude,” Cyrus also debuted two other new songs called “Dream” and “Mother’s Daughter.”

During the mini-concert, the pop superstar played some of her greatest hits, including “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” and “Party in the USA.” In a surprising moment, singer Charlie XCX joined Cyrus for “We Can’t Stop.”

The feud between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj reached its tipping point in September 2018 during the New York Fashion Week. During the event, the pair had a massive blowout at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party.

However, Minaj called for a cease-fire tweet a month later. “Let’s focus on positive things only from here on out,” she posted.

Cardi B agreed with this tweet and responded, “Alright then! Let’s keep it positive and keep it pushing!”
