Millie Bobbie Brown Shuts Down Rumors She’s Appearing on MCU’s ‘The Eternals’

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Millie Bobbie Brown is one of the actress heavily rumored to star in MCU’s upcoming film ‘The Eternals’, which has also has Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden in talks to take part in the film. The ‘Stranger Things’ actress, however, shut down speculations, saying she has ‘no idea’ about the said role.

In an Instagram video, Brown clarified that she has not been contacted regarding a role for a Marvel movie nor does she have any information about it. “My family and I have no idea. So I just want to let everyone know… that I’m not as of right now.”

‘The Eternals’, which will be directed by Chloe Zhao is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 movies which will feature a superhero team based in outer-space.

Jolie is said to be in talks to star in the movie, together with ‘Game of Thrones’ alum Madden and ‘The Big Sick’ actor Kumail Nanjiani. Jolie is expected to take on the role of Sersi, a female superhero whose powers include rearranging the molecular structure of matter, Radio Times reported.

Madden is also being tapped for a role and will possibly play Ikaris who possess multiple abilities including super strength, flight, and healing powers.

Other rumors suggest that Salma Hayek and Keanu Reeves are also in negotiations for still undisclosed roles.

Information about ‘The Eternals’ remain scarce, but the film is expected to hit theaters in 2020.
