Las Vegas, NV, United States (4E) – Nicolas Cage has filed for annulment just four days after his wedding with girlfriend, Erika Koike, in Las Vegas over the weekend.

According to court documents obtained by CNN, the 55-year-old actor filed for annulment on Wednesday, just four days after marrying Koike, who is 20 years younger than him. The couple has been together for at least a year.

TMZ reported that the annulment documents further state that Cage and Koike were intoxicated when they got married. Cage said Koike suggested that they should marry and he “reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”

The actor went on to say that their marriage was a fraud because Koike didn’t fully disclose that she has a relationship with another person. He added that the annulment should be granted because with them having deep conflicting personalities and dispositions results in their being “incompatible in marriage.”

Hours before their Las Vegas wedding on Saturday, TMZ snapped photos of the couple as they left the Bellagio Hotel. Eyewitnesses said Cage and Koike were in a heated argument and that the actor was yelling at his girlfriend.

This Cage’s fourth marriage and his shortest. He was previously married to actress Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001. In 2002, he wed Lisa Marie Presley. Their marriage lasted for only four months. His third marriage was with Alice Kim in 2004, with whom he has a son. The couple separated in 2016.
