Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Solange has withdrawn as one of the performers at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival due to production delays, the festival confirmed on Sunday night.

The announcement was made on Coachella’s official Twitter account, where it wrote that Solange will no longer perform at the annual music fest due to “major production delays,” Billboard reported. The festival also wrote that the singer “sends her sincerest apologies” and “looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.”

Solange has not made a comment on the matter.

The Grammy-winning singer was scheduled to perform on Saturday, April 12 & 19, which will be headlined by Tame Impala. The Saturday lineup also includes Kid Cudi, Billie Eilish, Bazzi, Sheck Wes, Wiz Khalifa, and more.

Meanwhile, one staff member of the Coachella team died on Saturday, one weekend before the beginning of the massive music fest, after falling while working on the festival stage.

Eyewitness said the worker was climbing the stage scaffolding to complete some rigging when he fell. According to TMZ, the man fell approximately 60 feet to the ground as he was not wearing safety harness to prevent him from falling.

Coachella organizer Goldenvoice issued a statement saying the worker has been a member of their team for 20 and was described as a “hard-working and loving person that cared deeply about his team.”

Indio police confirmed that they received a call at around 9:30 in the morning regarding an industrial accident at the Empire Polo Club where the concert was to take place. The victim was reportedly pronounced dead on the scene.
